Spilsby St James Clock Restoration

During 2011 we were asked to attend St James Church at Spilsby in Lincolnshire. The Church Clock was experiencing problems with timekeeping and was in need of urgent restoration work and cleaning.

Initially we began by cleaning the Dial Motion Works. The photographs below show the Dial Motion Works before and after our restoration.

We then turned our attention to the main clock movement.The Striking Clock was manufactured by B Cooke of Hull.
