Restoration of Lowdham Old School House Clock

In November 2011, Lowdham Parish Council awarded us the contract to restore the Old School House Clock. Originally fitted in 1911, a hundred years of wear and tear had left its mark and the clock was in need of a serious restoration.

The outer case was badly corroded and the original gold gilt had all disappeared. Our brief was to restore the clock and have it back in pristine condition before the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. This was achieved with a month to spare and the results are shown below.
